Shallow Believer is an EP by American alternative rock band The Used that was released digitally on February 19, 2008.[2] The EP is a compilation of B-sides from their first 3 studio albums, seven of them having been previously released as bonus tracks on different versions. It charted as high as #13 on iTunes top 100 albums.[3] The artwork was done by Bert McCracken and Alex Pardee. It gets its title from a lyric in the song "Slit Your Own Throat". Dan Whitesides recorded drums for the Lies for the Liars B-sides but it has yet to be confirmed which tracks he recorded. The Used sold Shallow Believer download cards on the Get a Life Tour.[4] Buying the card allowed fans discounts on their online store, a chance to meet the band, and "Pain" as a bonus track.
